We live in a 1930's house that needed rather a lot of TLC, which we initially planned to do in our spare time. However, combining a particularly busy time at work with peparations for the imminent arrival of our first child, we sensibly decided that it would be far better to get an expert to finish off certain areas of work, rather than try to do it ourselves, and we're delighted that we made that decision!
Stu laid a wooden floor throughout our hallway, running it into a new kitchen/breakfast area, and out into a utility room. In addition, he added a very smart beading, plus skirting where required, not only matching it in with existing lengths but also incorporating a difficult 'step' between rooms. This part we are particularly pleased with, as we know we wouldn't have been able to finish it anywhere near as well as stu did.
Stu is an extremely skilled craftsman with a great work ethic who offers excellent value for money, and we'd be happy to recommend him to any of our friends and family.
